What a beautiful costume for a beautiful girl! I'm curious about why you picked Athena. I don't think I would have thought of Athena when I was 8 years old. I think I was a clown or something at that age.
I picked that because I just read the Percy Jackson series, and one of the main characters are the daughter of Athena.
